1. four hours isn't far away when people you love are there waiting for you.
2. no one gets me quite like fall out boy does.
3. there's really cool girls on the hall, and there's really rude ones.
4. you don't get a chance to miss your parents...they're ALWAYS calling, texting, or (my personal favorite...) facebook chatting!
5. psycho girls are highly, and i mean HIGHLY, entertaining. that is, to a point. then, they get highly annoying...
6. meeting people isn't quite as easy as one would think.
7. on average, college kids look pretty rough about 88% of the time.
8. the bad thing about #7: i'm still trying to fight it.
9. living away from home rocks.
10. people on bicycles stop for NO ONE. they're hardcore.
11. college football is so more exciting once you're in college.
12. self-regulated bedtimes don't work. and you can't make them.
13. waffle house is fun at 3am :)
14. when they suggest you bring a raincoat, they aren't kidding. you better bring one.
15. be thankful for the kids you went to high school with, whether you talked to them in high school or not. they'll become your friends.
16. it is, in fact, possible to fit up to 10 people in a dorm room.
17. it doesn't matter what the dining hall food tastes like. it's where you're going to eat regardless. it's food, and it's cheap.
18. freshman 15 is a total lie. it's more like freshman -15. i've already lost a whole pants size.
19. your classes will be online, whether you signed up for an online class or not.
20. people who try to pressure you to drink are only looking to justify what they're doing. they know it's wrong, and they want someone to go off the deep end with them. somehow it makes it okay...
21. don't drink with the people mentioned in #20.
22. don't be pressured into doing something you don't want to do.
23. art 110 is for people who have never held a pencil.
24. don't sign up for classes that start before 10am.
25. sleep is so awesome.
26. the curfew for guests is 2am; the RA leaves the desk at 2am. do the math.
27. corner dorm rooms are actually bigger. and it rocks :)
28. keep snacks in the room. you WILL get hungry at midnight.
29. going home for the weekend makes you appreciate not living there anymore...
